Organisers confirm Las Vegas theme for 10th anniversary edition of BodyPower Expo, the largest indoor consumer fitness expo in the world.
BodyPower, organisers of the world’s largest indoor consumer fitness event BodyPower Expo, is excited to have reached its milestone 10th anniversary as a world leading fitness media business, underpinned by excellence in the events arena. BodyPower is proud to be able to celebrate a decade of ‘pushing the boundaries’ with global expansion of the company now highlighted by events in South Africa, India and China as well as the UK.
Since the inaugural BodyPower Expo in 2009 almost half a million people have experienced the unique, inspirational atmosphere that the event generates, providing visitors all over the world with a celebration of everything positive about fitness.
In 2018, from 11th to 13th May, with the 10th Anniversary at the forefront of people’s mind, organisers have announced that the event will be Las Vegas themed with a host of new features that will put fresh energy and impetus into an event already experiencing exponential growth.
Chief Operating Officer Ollie Upton commented: “Bringing in a Vegas theme will be hugely exciting. Fans of the event and loyal customers perhaps wanting something a little bit different will be amazed by some of the plans we’re making behind the scenes. Expect some never-before-seen athletes, new features and a new layout to the show which will include a ‘Vegas Strip’.”
95,953 visitors turned out for a bumper ninth edition of the show, with continued diversification of the event including the more commercial fitness focussed BodyPower Active area and the growth of competitions like the BodyPower Games CrossFit™ offering. Athletes like social media star Calum von Moger dominated the chat amongst visitors, and he was joined at the top of the billing by the likes of Steve Cook, Nikki Blackketter, Dana Linn Bailey, Kai Greene, Rich Piana and legendary 4x Mr. Olympia Jay Cutler, returning to the show after a one-year absence.
