The WBFF (World Beauty, Fitness & Fashion Inc.) are bringing the most glamourous fitness event to BodyPower on Saturday 13th May 2017 for a separately ticketed evening event inside the world’s best fitness expo (get your tickets here!).
Across the BodyPower weekend, however, the WBFF will be making their presence felt with stand space to promote the federation and the chance to showcase some of the outstanding talent in their pro ranks.
1. Williams Falade
At 6’2” and coming on stage at a shredded 90kg, Williams Falade is an imposing aesthetic bodybuilder with a very interesting background.
The WBFF Pro World Champion 2016, Miami Pro European Champion 2015 and Body of Africa 2013, Falade started hitting the gym in his college days at 17 years old to pass his lunchtimes!
A respected PT in his day job, Falade designed the Athletic Fitness class – one of Fitness First’s flagship UK group exercise classes.
2. Wole Adesemoye
He’s the 2016 WBFF Muscle Model Pro North American Champion and the founder of WoleTraining, but that barely scratches the surface on Nigerian-born UK PT Wole Adesemoye.
The Maxi Muscle athlete has represented England in 100m sprinting (clocking 10.95 seconds), played semi-professional football, reached the 2012 London ABA Final as an amateur boxer, ran the New York marathon in 3 hours 50 minutes and even won BBC’s Last Man Standing.
The celebrity trainer certainly knows his stuff with diverse knowledge and experience in a range of sport and fitness disciplines.
3. Justin Gonzales
A PT for over a decade, Gonzales founded OneEightyLifestyle in 2010 and in 2012, at his first show, he won a WBFF show in Kansas City and became a WBFF Pro.
A year later, Gonzales had his sights set on the ‘Best of the Best’ WBFF Pro Show in Las Vegas. Up against some of the best fitness models in world, Gonzales came out on top with the title of 2013 Professional Fitness Model World Champion.
4. AJ Ellison
AJ Ellison has a rich history as a competitor having won the WBFF Pro Muscle Model World Champion in 2013 and 2016.
Having gone to the Olympic Trials Qualifier for the Men’s 800m in 2000, Ellison dabbled in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA before turning his hand to becoming a fitness competitor.
A 3rd place finish in the 2011 WBFF World Championships in the Muscle Model category earnt him a Pro Card and since then Ellison has finished outside the top 3 only once since 2011 (finishing fourth in 2015).
5. Cristina Silva
Having won the WBFF Bikini Diva show in London 2015 before following it up with another victory as the WBFF Bikini Diva World Champion in Las Vegas, Silva is at the top of her game.
The WBFF contest at BodyPower is set to be a fantastic event – all based at the biggest consumer fitness expo in the world – BodyPower.
Get your tickets to BodyPower and meet these fantastic athletes at the NEC from 12th to 14th May 2017.
